Cut glass and silverplate inkwell and tray with molded depictions of English philosophers, including Isaac Newton, Benjamin Franklin, John Locke, and Roger Bacon. Lightly incised "G.I.W" along the underside of plate and lid of inkwell.

Condition: No breaks, bends, or losses. Light wear along the footrims.
