Group of five Western Stoneware Monmouth ceramic "Old Sleepy Eye" vessels. Including two mugs and three creamers or small pitchers. Each depicting Chief Ishtakhaba (Sisseton Dakota, 1780-1859), also known as Chief Sleepy Eye. Marked along the underside.
Height ranges from 3 3/4 in to 4 1/4 in; width ranges from 3 3/4 in to 4 1/2 in; diameter from 2 1/2 in to 3 in.
Condition: Crazing throughout. Some areas of flaking and small losses to the glaze.
