Rookwood Pottery, United States. Rare Art Deco ceramic "Automatic Cigarette Extinguisher" ashtray, ca. 1950. With a rounded base executed in a pale green glaze and a bakelite "Bowling Ball" spherical snuffer, featuring two metal cigarette hooks. Marked along the underside.
